When life becomes uncertain and the world seems darker, your calling is actually closer, not further away. The genius in your soul is the light inside the darkness that seeks to become known and be brought to life. In times of radical change, just as in periods of personal crisis, there is an acceleration of calling as something essential in each soul seeks to become known. A true calling aims at awakening the genius qualities, inner gifts and genuine life potentials already set within each soul.

The awakening of genius is part of a “second birth” that is so essential that it tries to happen at each critical turning point throughout our lives. Answering the call opens pathways of imagination and healing that lead to finding one’s “dharma” or natural way of being in life and serving in the world.

Resiliency, creativity and transformation are hallmarks of genius and essential capacities needed to navigate times of upheaval and great uncertainty. In transforming each of us, genius would also transform the world.

• Threads of genius and purpose are present in everyone, but may only become visible when something creative is attempted.
• The voice of your genius can be subtle and become obscured by the many distractions in the modern world.
• Received ideas and inner conflicts can obscure your true calling in life.
  
• To hold the tension between following our genius and needing to have a daily job.    
  
• There can be an acceleration of calling when everything seems polarized or chaotic.
  
• Calling can come at any time, even later in life; for your calling keeps calling.
